We modernized the Mozimba-Pie de la Cuesta section of the Acapulco-Zihuatanejo highway in the state of Guerrero with actions that included building earthworks, drainage, pavement, supplementary construction, signage, and two bridge structures along a total length of 1.13 miles, reducing travel times from 20 to five minutes.

Construction began in March 2009 and was completed in November 2011.
