We built this highway between 1991 and 1993, it connects Cuernavaca-Acapulco highway with the Acapulco Diamante zone. The 13-mile stretch of highway directly connects the most dynamic and fastest growing area in this major tourist destination.
We were awarded a 20-year concession for this highway in 1991, which was extended to a total of 40 years in 2004. The highway’s capacity has grown steadily in recent years, and more than 1.5 million vehicles use it every year. In 2006, we completed the placement of 15-year stock certificates for USD 19 million. |
